Please relay your postcode when contacting us for the first time. We require your postcode to check whether we service your area and to provide a home visit fee estimate.
We aim to reply emails within 24 hours. More urgent emails will be prioritised to sooner.
Please note that we cannot provide specific or detailed medical advice to a patient that is not registered with us, or has not been seen by us for that condition.
When requesting an emergency/out of hours home visit, phone 07786 838 838 (until 8pm) and follow up with a text or whattsapp message. We aim to respond to urgent messages as soon as possible, however be aware that when we are helping another family, the response time for a vet to call back could be up to 1 hour.
Appointment scheduling
Routine home visits start at 10am.
Weekend, late afternoon and evening (4pm to 9pm) home visits incur a surcharge.
Appointments are scheduled for an arrival time window of one hour for mornings, and up to two hours for mid-to-late afternoon appoinments; i.e. a 4pm appointment refers to an arrival time between 4pm and 6pm. You will be updated of the arrival window on the day of the appointment.
This arrival window is to allow for delays due to variable traffic conditions, longer driving distances and previous appointments requiring more time.
If you require a prompt appointment arrival time, please do let us know and we will schedule a time where we are less likely to have arrival delays.
We routinely message your mobile (whatsapp or text) when on our way to you, with the estimated arrival time. If contactable via a mobile phone, do keep it on and at hand prior to your appointment.
Further important information for contacting us
Whilst at a home visit, we may not be able to answer mobile calls and are unable to view or reply text or email messages. Be assured that your calls and messages are noted and will be returned as soon as possible.
